As you said today in class, I liked how the author wrote not only about his personal experiences in the prison, but he covered a lot of facts from statistics that had been taken. I am against the death penalty so his writings supported a lot of my opinion. I mean sometimes there is just not enough evidence. It was quite obvious that the jury was prejudice. Saying “it’s just another sorry nigger no one is going to miss”. From the statistics that he found, the judicial descisions are based on race, sex, and culture. It’s quite terrifying that this still happens today.
